Roles for Initiative: Los Angeles
RFILA is a Dungeons & Dragons-themed improv comedy show where characters are thrown into an adventure inspired by audience suggestions. It all starts with a Game Master (GM) and 3-4 players who take the stage with nearly nothing prepared. Based on random words from the audience, the GM spins an adventure that the players must try to complete without dying. Each show is unique, featuring a rotating group of performers.
Jon Sabay created Roles for Initiative and continues to produce the show in Tokyo, Japan, at Tokyo Comedy Bar. All proceeds from the LA show are donated to humanitarian efforts worldwide.
